# Notifications & Preferences
Ridge Sight Premium includes notification integrations and personal preference settings to help you stay on top of pull requests.
## Notifications (Premium)
Notifications alert you to important PR activity without having to constantly check the dashboard.
### Supported Channels
| Channel | Description |
|---|---|
| Slack | Send alerts to a Slack channel via an incoming webhook URL |
| Pushover | Send push notifications to your phone via the Pushover app |
### Setting Up Notifications
- - Click the Bell icon (🔔) in the dashboard header.
- - In the Notifications modal, choose a channel (Slack or Pushover).
- - Enter the required credentials:
- - Slack: Paste your Slack incoming webhook URL
- - Pushover: Enter your Pushover User Key and App Token
- - Configure your triggers (see below).
- - Click Save.
### Notification Triggers
Choose which events trigger notifications:
| Trigger | Description |
|---|---|
| New PRs | Alert when new pull requests are opened in tracked repos |
| Failing CI | Alert when a PR's CI checks start failing |
| Stale PRs | Alert when PRs haven't been updated for an extended period |
| High-risk PRs | Alert when AI analysis flags a PR as high-risk |
### Digest Frequency
Instead of receiving individual alerts, you can receive a bundled digest:
| Frequency | Description |
|---|---|
| Daily | One digest per day |
| Twice daily | Two digests per day |
| Manual | No automatic digests — check the dashboard yourself |
### Notification Noise Level
Control the overall verbosity of notifications via Preferences:
| Level | Description |
|---|---|
| Quiet | Minimal alerts — only critical events |
| Balanced | Standard notifications (default) |
| Verbose | All events, maximum visibility |
## Preferences (Premium)
Preferences set defaults that apply to your dashboard experience. These persist across sessions.
### Configurable Defaults
| Setting | Options |
|---|---|
| Default queue | All PRs, My Queue, Team Queue, or Saved |
| Default sort | Last updated, Date created, Priority, or Risk |
| Repository sort | Alphabetical or Source order |
| Default filters | Any filter combination (search, repo, author, label, draft, conflicts, CI, age) |
| Notification noise | Quiet, Balanced, or Verbose |
### How to Set Preferences
Preferences are saved automatically as you use the dashboard. When you change your active tab, sort order, or filter settings, those become your new defaults for the next time you visit.
